Well ladies and gents! Tomorrow is that fateful day when you turn 21, haha.

I don't ask anything of the community, just posting about this (although subs are always a nice gift or prints *wink wink*).

On Thursday though, if anyone is in the PDX area, I will be heading to The Qube Lounge on First and Pine to enjoy some music and drinks if anyone cares to join! If so, please do give me a heads up so I know who to look for =]

Back in the ER

News

So, this morning (June 27th, 2009) I woke up to writhing pain in my right wrist around 0630. It hurt so bad in fact that I couldn't go back to sleep by any means and finally made the choice to go to the ER as my normal doctor is unreachable during the weekends to have him look at it and see what was wrong- so off I went.

I got there around 0730 and got myself checked in and into the triage room where they could take blood pressure, etc. and get me setup to head into the actual ER, the entire time I am in excruciating pain that would not permit me to move my fingers, hand, nor wrist without causing more pain.

Finally I get back into my own room in the ER, where I got a very nice RN named Joel. He and I talked about what was going on and what was hurting, etc. Eventually the doctor came in and we talked about the same stuff and he felt around my arm, wrist, hand to find the problem area and try to figure out what the possible problem is. After he took off, Joel came back in and told me I was to be put on Morphine to ease the pain and a liquid form of Ibuprofen to stop any inflammation that might be going on, as well as, having blood drawn for a few tests to see if there was any infection to speak of.

So, I had the blood done, the Ibuprofen was injected, then came a very healthy dose (4mg) of Morphine followed by heading off to get X-rays done to make sure I didn't actually have a broken wrist. After the X-rays, I went back to the room where my wrist was still hurting with any movements and seemed to be a tad better when not moving at all. This led to getting another 2mg of Morphine which helped a bit more but didn't take away all the pain by any means.

Once this was done, the doctor came back in to let me know that my tests came back normal as well as my X-rays and that he thinks that it could be tendinitis and thus prescribed me Vicodin to take as needed and more Ibuprofen to ease any inflammation that may still be there, followed by a wrist brace to prevent any unneeded movement. Following all that, I was let go around 1015 from the ER drugged up quite well and made my way back home.

The end product is that my wrist still hurts like hell, typing with my left hand solo is proving to be a lot of effort and my new set of drugs are proving to once again knock me off my ass without actually tsking care of all the pain as one would hope.

All in all, this sucks and I wanted to let everyone know. Bleh.

So, what's going on with all you guys out there?

Instead of going down to Cali like I was planning on doing starting tomorrow. I ended up in the hospital Tuesday morning.

Don't ask complicated questions about it as I'm very very tired of explaining what happened and such.

Needless to say, I wasn't in an accident and the doctors couldn't give me a straight diagnosis, so it will remain a mystery. But, I will let you know that I did suffer some muscle damage in my legs.

So, sorry to those that I said i would be down there and such. Le sigh. Maybe in a few months and such I shall make it down there.

That's what's going on for now.

Greetings everyone!

As many of you have probably noticed, I haven't said anything new here in some time. Kind of lame I know, heh.

Anywho....

Coming up next month - March - I will be doing a road trip from here - Portland - down to LA (or LA LA Land as I like to say). During that trip I will be stopping and staying with arachnid15 and Katerina423 and doing some shooting; I will have my light kit with me on this trip as well. From there it is down to Santa Barbara to see some good friends from school that are still living there and finally to LA.

Now, what does this have to do with you? I am wondering if there are any of those along the way that would be interested in perhaps doing a shoot around the 20th (this will be in San Jose staying with Steven and Katie) to 25th (LA). After that point, I will be making my way up to San Fransisco on the 25th to the 27th or there abouts.

Let me know what you think!

Yeah, it's another one of those things were I'm a bit fed up with something; which is turn means I'm trying to get more feed back because I'm tired of people driving towards one thing.

Now I'm sure those that are actually reading this are wondering "Wtf...?" in some manner or another.

What I'm talking about is this: Nude Mime Contest. I'm sure this is starting bring more questions up in your mind. I'm kind peeved at the fact that there are so few entries into a contest that should in theory have lots, first off.
Secondly, why the hell are all the ones (four) more popular because they feature tits- yup I said it, tits. That seems to be the only reason why the others sans one are significantly more popular, and as you may have guessed it, I am in fact a bit pissed at that. Perhaps being different in this place by "breaking the conventional rules" is not seen as acceptable in nude? What the hell is wrong with the shot people? Or are you that fuckin' afraid of a part of the male body you can't even distinguish? Tell me! I know lots of people watch me, so give me your damn feed back for a change instead of just sitting idly by and not saying anything.

To end that bit, I am sure there are plenty of run-on sentences, etc. And frankly right now I don't care too much. I hate sitting by whilst the world claims to "watch," yet does nothing.

You've heard my thoughts on this now, so leave some feedback for a change.

Yup, title says it all right there.
Just got home from spending the passed couple days out at the coast for my birthday.

That is all for now.

Anyone want to model perchance here in Portland? Preferably Thursday or Saturday. Friday in the morning/afternoon might work, but we'd have to figure that one out a little bit more.

Well, seeing as I hardly ever update this fuckin' thing, I figured it was damn well about time I did.

Mostly the reason is because I have moved and so much has happened since I wrote that last one.

So, I stopped attending Brooks in Santa Barbara. It just became too expensive to live down there and go to school at the same time. So, the end result is that I moved back to Portland and things are much happier.

What that also means is that I got a job at Best Buy on 82nd selling cameras to people. So, if you happen to be up there looking for something, I work Friday through Monday. It's always nice to have someone to chat with, so if you want to come chat with me, you can find me there, lol.

I'm also starting school back here finally at PCC (Portland Community College) and I'll be doing that in Computer Information Technologies- in other words Web Development. Sadly it's a one year program to get my associates and on top of that, I already surpass the requirements for it with what I am currently working on. If you don't know that project, it can be seen here: Carbon.Maxkunowski.com.

Lets see, what else is going on....

Not too much, been playing with the Genius feature in the new iTunes 8, sadly it doesn't like to match up some of the music that I have and know I have matches for =[ Oh well, hopefully that improves through time.

Also! If you're a model in the area or need photos done, I really need to get back out shooting. It sucks working those days when everyone else has off, but I would love to do a shoot if someone's interested.

That is all for now!

Well, I need the community's help for a school project.

The project is just a simple survey that need be filled out for an experiment I'm doing.

The site in question is here: Question.MaxKunowski.Com

If your parents are divorced and have remarried, this applies to you, otherwise, you will just be messing with my results, and that isn't very nice :(

Please help me! If you know anyone that applies to this, please send them a link so I can have enough results for the study!

Best wishes,

Yeah, it's been a long time since I've written here.

So! Here's the news at hand:

I have picked up a new camera which I'm very excited about. It is the Mamiya RB67 Professional, with 120, 220, and Polaroid Film Backs, and 127mm F/3.8 lens. It was well worth the money I must say =D It'll be a lot of fun to do portrait work with and studio work in general as apposed to shooting Digital (no I won't buy the digital back for it, lol).

Currently I am in Portland on my break and it's most wonderful. Sadly I must leave on Saturday and return to school. Bleh.
What sucks even more, is that I CAN'T actually leave until Saturday because my car is in the shop until then =[ The current problems that are getting fixed:
:bulletred: New Exhaust (old one was shot)
:bulletred: SRS Airbag Sensor (old one thought the driver side airbag- the only one- had already deployed and wouldn't open if there was an accident)
:bulletred: Engine may have been running a tad rich- should be fixed
:bulletred: Front drive axle is bent on driver's side along with driver's side suspension (no idea how this happened, completely blew me away when I found this out- new one is being installed)
:bulletred: Headliner (I wanted this done, but now I don't have the time because of how long the car has to be in the shop for the other stuffs).

Yes, I drive a SAAB... let the bad jokes and puns begin now. >.<

Past that, I have been busy with school stuff, which is why you haven't been seeing too much from me as of late. 'Tis sad but true. School work being displayed just sucks. And to boot, nothing I'm terribly proud of either, oh well. Hopefully this coming session is greatly improved upon. We can only wait and see. The one good thing about this is that they ARE splitting my class into two different parts finally. The reason I can be oh so happy about this is because currently the majority of students in the class are complete and udder morons. It'll be nice to also have a smaller class size finally and get some work done.

Alrighty, enough of my babblings. Tell me what's going with you people out there! I never hear from you any more

Much love,

Teh Junkeh

Yup, the title says just about everything. Back to school yet again. Not that it's a bad thing or anything. It's nice to have a new prof. that's world renowned.

Not much is really going on in this front besides that. I'm heading to SF at the end of the month to hang with family and watch the Super Bowl (really looking forward to that!).

On a side note, HD-DVD lost the format war =[ Which means that buying HD-DVDs is super cheap now! lol. Look at the plus side I guess. I can expand my collection faster now and save money... score.

Currently I own:
300, Batman Begins, Black Snake Moan, Blazing Saddles, Blood Diamond, Bourne Identity, Children of Men, Full Metal Jacket (Reissue), The Last Samurai, Mission Impossible (I), Mystery Men, Serenity, and Spartacus.

I want to add to it, sadly I have no money right now, so expanding isn't an option. Kinda need to save money for Film Processing (4x5 costs a lot to do it). Oh well. Maybe someone will be nice and get me Planet Earth? Amazon has it for 30% off right now ;) And if you haven't seen any of it, it's a must. You just have to see it. Fuckin' beautiful show.

That concludes this session of information. Who knows when I'll post another one @.@

P.S. I just got Gallagher 4-Disc set in the mail today :boogie:

Fried tables

Greetings everyone!

Been awhile since I updated this thing last hasn't?? lol.

First order of business:
A thank you goes out to arachnid15 for the DD I got today for Curl (see left).

Second order:
I've been busy as all hell with school, which is why I haven't been posting a lot or really been around here that much to be honest.
I did however just order this really sweet calendar from here: www.deviantart.com/print/21472… - which I look forward to getting in the mail at some point.

Third:
while working on a shoot last night (yay shooting 4x5 for hours on end) the table thought it'd be a grand idea to start smoking towards the end. Oops... lol. My friend and I had to move the hot lights too low... so they started heating up the table a little too much. Thankfully we were able to get the lights just above and still be able to shoot in the end.

Fourth:
I got myself an HD DVD player... boy is it nice =D I have a few movies right now for it and a couple more coming in the mail hopefully today (so says Amazon). If you have any movie suggestions, I'm all ears.
So far in the collection:
- 300
- Bourne Identity
- Batman Begins
- Blazing Saddles
- Blood Diamond

Coming in the mail:
- Serenity
- Black Snake Moan

-----

Okay then... I think I covered all my bases on this one.

Hope to hear from folks at some point! lol. Was so quiet last time around ;)

Title says it all.

It looks like in a couple weeks I'll be moving from my current Apartment to a new one with a couple really great guys in Santa Barbara, and I will finally be out of Goleta (next to IV... you know what I mean if you know that stories, lol).

Also! My b-day is coming up... once again. Prints are always a nice thing to get, I have selected a Shirt and thrown it up in the wishlist (Men's Medium for order info ;)).

Brooks is a busy place, which explains why I really haven't been submitting anything recently and everything that has been shown was done for school initially :bleh:. But, I'm working on getting some shoots setup in the area right now with another photographer, so if you like to model and are 18+ please get a hold of me. We'll be covering expenses and what not and doing TFCD / TFP (if we shoot film).

And, yes, that's about it right now, lol. addictedtosound is flying in tonight and I'm super happy about that  Of course, tonight is crit night and it's from 4-7, lol. Good thing it's three hours earlier than normal, I'd be screwed otherwise

Hey Folks!

I've been home from EU for a couple weeks now. My how time moves fast sometimes :dead:

I'm moving down to Santa Barbara (California) next week to start school on the 5th.

Sorry I haven't been the most active as of late, been kinda fried and there's a lot going on around here.

But, one of the nice things about keeping busy is that I got a new car ('92 Saab 900 4door), a MacBook Pro (17" old, not new model), and I have a photoshoot coming up on Saturday at the beach. I guess I'm happy, lol.

I've also been working on an Application (CMS) for the web called Carbon 2. It's still in Alpha stages, but it's getting closer to being a polished product.

If you're interested in developing a module or something, let me know and I can send you the current build, however the implementation of the module system is not complete yet (there's some DB work to do and core code to be added still).

Anywho, that's my update for now. I need to shower from working outside earlier... :faint:

Atleast I had good beer while I was working, lol. Blue Moon FTW :#1:

Of course MichalTokarczuk was there and my cousin + her boyfriend. Card for 2 hours was a lot. Thankfully when it get later it was not so hot outside anymore.

There are two more shots up from the studio session so far. MichalTokarczuk has posted one image so far... I will make sure he gets something else up... I don't want mine feeling lonely or anything. Plus, this is the only time I will have to upload mine until I go back State Side

Greeeeetings from MichalTokarczuk's flat in Poland!

Yup, I am in Poland right now, more specifically, Krakow, and spent most of the day walking around the city center and having fun while ending up at a bar called "The Dragon's Head," and took something like 200 photos.... hehe. it was lots of fun and all. Things here are so much cheaper then in america... I must say. But Lucky Strikes are still spendy here and in Germany, lol. Too bad I can't buy them in the US anymore =

Tomorrow i will be venturing to the Jewish Quarter to explore and to the bars for fun and more photos.... weeee... so much fun here.

Next week I will be going to a camp with Mika and my cousin, and I will meet with madzica and we will have some fun... and yes. My week is slowly filling up. I will be back in Berlin on saturday in the evening sometime.

Hopefully I am able to get to the studio to take some nudes with Mika.... which sounds like is going to happen, because he just told me that we have two models to work with and to drink with... shwang.

Look forward to seeing photos tonight from the Dragon's Head. As well as a new ID that I will pick from the shots Mika has taken, hehe.
